ENSTATITE

Enstatite is a complex mineral of Magnesium and Iron. Colors are usually brown, greenish, or yellowish - Enstatite is pleochroic but not usually so noticeable due to the overall deepness in color. Clean gems of Enstatite are rare and these are considered collector's gems.

This material is very clean with a rich yellowish-brown to reddish-brown color.  And the pieces are large and chunky for faceting that special collector's gem.
Enstatite is generally not clean, so this is your chance to pick up some very facetable unique material.  ...Also great for demonstrating a Spectroscope - the spectrum for Enstatite is razor sharp!
