GARNET-Fancy
This page contains our Garnet Gems from the Uvarovite subgroup (Andradite, Demantoid, Tsavorite, Grossular, Hessonite), which are the "fancy" colored garnets including green, yellow, peach, orange, and even Colorless. Due to the high refractive index and the lightly saturated colors, gems cut from this group are outstanding. Colorless Grossular almost look like diamond when cut, and the rare green varieties (Green Grossular/Mali/Tsavorite and Demantoid) put emerald to shame. Not only do these gems look incredible but they are also very rare and highly desired.

ORIGIN: RUSSIA, Faceted in USA
CUT: 16-Sided Round Brilliant cut
COLOR: Very Deep Green, like a drop of green food coloring. Pic below is in bright direct light, and real color is actually more green.
INCLUSIONS: Eye Clean. Posses a few of the identifying Asbestos fibers! (seen under 10X magnification)
OTHER INFO: This is a very rare, good sized, Russian Demantoid (Andradite) Garnet. The color is very Deep Dark Green, so the gem only "shows its colors" in good strong light. Here's the chance to own a gem substantially more rare than almost any other gemstone including diamond ! Very few people can say they own a real Russian Demantoid Garnet.
GIA GG lab appraisal at $500/ct ($270.00) included.
