PERIDOT (OLIVINE)
Peridot (Olivine) gets its wonderful green color from the ferrous iron content within its molecular structure. Found throughout the world including Antarctica, Peridot is relatively inexpensive, yet produces fine, desirable gems.
We are please to offer some fine bright Apple-green material from the Umba region of Tanzania. This material is quite clean and very bright (no olive coloration at all in this material).
