CHROME TOURMALINE
Tourmaline is a real favorite as it comes in so many colors and multi-colors and is so excellent for jewelry! Tourmaline is a bit heat sensitive, so care must be taken when dopping the stone. Otherwise no major problems, especially with our well shaped, eye-clean selections.
We are pleased to offer a fine selection of Tanzanian Chrome Tourmaline including some pieces that have the interesting 'Usambara' color-change effect as well. These special stones have a deep pure green color in natural or fluorescent lighting, but hit them with an incandescent light at different angles and the color is blood red to yellow to orangish green! Stones are all checked w/ a Chelsea filter.
